Steven Smith handed one-Test suspension for ball tampering
Australia captain Steve Smith has been handed a one-Test suspension and fined 100 percent of his match fee by the ICC, after he confessed in a post-day press conference on Saturday (March 24) that he was party to a ploy to tamper the condition of the ball during the ongoing Newlands Test against South Africa. Smith will thus miss the fourth Test, to be played in Johannesburg from March 30.
